- Description
- Title Mission Bio Inc. Tapestri Single Cell DNA and Protein Kit for The Center for Cellular Engineering (CCE) Product Service Code: 6640 NAICS Code: 334516 Place of Performance: Bethesda, MD 20892 USA POTS: 24-011046 Description This is a notice of intent, NOT a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will NOT be issued, and quotations will NOT be requested. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a fixed price purchase order to procure a Tapestri Single Cell DNA and Protein Kit from Mission Bio Inc. of South San Francisco, California 94080-6229. The Center for Cellular Engineering (CCE) is responsible for the manufacture of human cells and tissue-based products utilized in phase I/II clinical protocols for transplantation, adoptive immunotherapy and gene therapy conducted in the Clinical Center at the NIH. Cell processing procedures are tailored to each of the 30 or more different patient-care clinical research protocols supported, including CAR-T cells and iPSCs. Also, regarding Institute research support it: 1)Develops biologics collection and manufacturing processes to support clinical trials, 2) Collects, manufactures and distribute blood components for in vitro research use, 3) Collaboration in the design, planning, execution and data analysis of clinical studies, 4) Collects and manufactures specialized cellular products to support clinical trials and, 5) Develops and evaluate assays for clinical application and biologics safety testing and cellular characterization. The Center for Cellular Engineering (CCE) have been starting to investigate differential gene expression and protein expression simultaneously at single cell level by facilitating the reaction on BD Rhapsody single cell analysis system, including Rhapsody scanner and Rhapsody express that we just adopted recently from BD biosciences, as well as single cell genotyping and phenotyping by using Tapestri platform from Mission Bio, to help develop clinical lot release more efficiency to streamline workflow of CAR T cells manufacturing at CCE and clinical research as well. Key Features and Benefits for Mission Bio Tapestris single cell DNA sequencing supplies and services: Single-cell technology enables us to precisely understand tumor phylogenies and reveal the clonal architecture of tumors, with profound implications for diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of cancer. Mission Bios Tapestri is the first and only single-cell technology developed to reveal biomarkers that help stratify patients, signal resistance, predict relapse, and vector copy numbers in transduced CAR T cells. Tapestris powerful muti-omics capability can connect genotype and phenotype, and it opens the door to a deeper understanding and improved treatment of cancer. Mission Bios Tapestri Platform enables highly sensitive targeted DNA sequencing at the single-cell level, enables simultaneous measurement of genotype and immunophenotype across thousands of cells in a single assay to allow a thorough depiction of the tumors clonal diversity. Tapestri provides only single-cell technology that simultaneously measures single nucleotide variation, copy number variation, and protein data from the same cells. The multi-omics platform connects genotype and phenotype in each cell, dissecting the architecture of tumors with unprecedented resolution. Catalog Number/Description/Quantity MB-04800/Tapestri Single-Cell/1 Mission Bio is the sole manufacturer and provider of the specific reagent kits that are compatible with the existing Tapestri instrument currently utilized in the Center for Cellular Engineering lab. This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstance of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. Contracts awarded using FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6-Competition Requirements.
