- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contract Office (NCO) 22 intends to solicit for a contractor to provide mailroom equipment and software maintenance and repairs. The required services are to be performed for the Long Beach VA Healthcare System (LBVAHCS) within Veterans Integrated Services Network (VISN) 22. This requirement is planned for a Base and 4 Option year contract. Please respond with a Capabilities Statement by Noon on August 8, 2024 (PST) by emailing Naomi Meza, Contract Specialist, naomi.meza@va.gov. General Requirements: All work shall be in accordance with manufacture s specifications, including, but not limited to, adjustments, calibration, cleaning, lubrication, testing, disassembly, checkout, replacement of worn and/or defective parts, and the inspection of wiring for wear and fraying. The above shall be performed as necessary and as required to keep each unit in optimal working condition. The contractor shall provide maintenance services for mailroom equipment and related software. Normal service requirements consist of scheduled maintenance, adjustments, and repairs, along with as needed repair in response to service calls made by LBVAHCS to the contractor due to a partial or complete unit equipment failure which requires the contractor to respond within a specified time frame to make needed repairs/adjustments to the system. Service shall include software updates as needed for the general operation of the equipment. At the completion of maintenance and repair, Contractor must ensure upon departure that the equipment is in optimal working condition. If equipment or software is determined to be non-maintainable, and if agreed to by both parties, then the contractor must be able to provide the exact software or equipment. If the contractor wants to replace software or equipment with a different make/model, the VA s Point of Contact (POC) must approve all alternatives submitted by the contractor.
