- Description
- This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The Contractor shall establish and operate, at no-cost to the Government, the food service facilities described for the purpose of dispensing food, non-alcoholic beverages and such other items as may be authorized by the Contracting Officer (CO) in accordance with the terms and conditions of this contract. On an as-needed basis, the Contractor shall also perform Event Support Services (catering) throughout the GAO building, specifically in the Comptroller General suite of offices which includes executive offices, a reception area, a staging area, and several conference/dining rooms. The Contractor will interact with dignitaries of the highest levels including foreign and U.S. Government officials, consultants and experts, and other guests. The contractor must exercise sound judgment, considerable tact, and discretion when assigned these tasks. At GAO's expense, the GAO's Office of Security will conduct an appropriate background check on contractor personnel prior to starting work at GAO. Period of Performance: The period of performance will be a 5-Year Base Period and 2 (two) 5-Yerar option periods. The Year plus four (4) option years. The approximate period of performace dates are Base Period 10/31/2024-10/30/2029, Option Period 1 10/31/2029-10/20/2034, and Option Period 2 10/31/2034-10/20/2039.� The applicable NAICS code is 722310, Food Service Contractors, with a size standard of $41.5 million dollars. Contract Type: The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation.�The potential soliciation shall be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. Site Visit: August 20, 2024 at 9:30AM Eastern Time at GAO Headquarters located at 441 G Street NW Washington, DC 20548. All potential offerors must contact Alethea Moody, Contract Specialist at MoodyA@gao.gov on or before August 19, 2024 at 10:00AM Eastern Time to confirm attendance.� All potential offerors must be present at the site visit at the GAO Headquarters scheduled for August 20, 2024 at 9:30AM Eastern Time. No Exceptons. Additionally, potential offerors are responsible for monitoring and downloading all documents including amendments at SAM.gov without further notification from the Contracting Officer. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the following: SAM database at https://www.sam.gov This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. This is not a request for propsal/pricing at this time. Responses to this notice will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be incurred by interested parties in responding to this pre-solicitation notice.
