- The Embassy of the United States of America invites you to submit a proposal for the removal and replacement of the working kitchen exhaust system of a residence building located in the Brussels Capital Region, Belgium. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. Scope of Work*: Mobilization and demolition. Provision of shop drawings for the exhaust system. Installation of scaffolding/working platform if required. Furnishing and installation of all appropriate materials. Surface preparation and cleaning. *Detailed scope of work to be found in the RFP Site visit: A mandatory site visit is organised for this RFP and scheduled for August 14th 2024. Interested offeros must submit the registration form before noon on August 12th 2024.� Offer Instructions: Complete the OFFER portion of the Standard Form 1442, including all blank spaces highlighted in yellow, and have the form signed by an authorized representative of your company, or the proposal may be considered unacceptable and may be rejected. In order for a proposal to be considered, you must also complete and submit the following: In order for a quotation to be considered, you must also complete and submit the following: SF-1442 Section A, Pricing Additional information as required in Section J Contract: The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract, with no adjustment for any escalation in costs or prices of labor or materials. Each offeror will be responsible for determining the amount of labor�and materials that will be required to complete the project, and for pricing its proposal accordingly. Registration Requirements: All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database (https://www.sam.gov) prior to submitting an offer, pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submission of quotations/proposals. Electronic Submission/Responses: Your quotation must be submitted electronically to BrusselsBids@state.gov. It is important to make sure the submission is made in specific size and format; Adobe Acrobat (pdf) file format. The file size must not exceed 30MB. If the file size should exceed the 2MB, the submission must be made in separate files and attached to separate emails with less than 2MB each.
