Description
The Air Force intends to solicit the following supply: �The 76th CMXG is requesting utilization of funds for the purchase of Emerging Technology Handheld Laser De-paint Unit. � One (1) each, handheld laser de-paint unit with the following specifications: Laser System. o The laser system shall be designed to meet or exceed the following characteristics: A. Diode pumped laser, Wavelength 1064nm, pulsed mode (ns) B. Average laser power: P = 300 W +/-3% C. Preparation for pilot lasers: i. 19"" rack mount ii. desktop version passive air-cooled. iii. brushless fan motors D. Light guide cable: length approx. 5 m, not separable E. Beam collimator with protection against back reflection (BRP), permanently connected. F. Interface for interlock, external emergency stop G. EMC tested housing, CE compliant design. H. Weight 18 kg, Electrical power consumption approx.: 1250 W I. Power supply 100-240V, 50/60Hz, single-phase J. Laser class 4, operating temperature 10-35�C K. Humidity: 10-95% non-condensing Electronic Edge Blanking System. o The laser system shall be equipped with an electronic edge blanking system that meets or exceed the following characteristics: A. Reduce the thermal influence due to increased overlap in the critical areas B. Suppresses the laser power at the turning points C. All process parameters can be defined in a defined range can be changed D. Large change in scan width does not require any new settings E. Scan frequency can be set in a range of approx. 10Hz and the pulse frequency by approx. 2.5kHz around the preset frequency can be changed Fiber-Fiber-Coupling (FFC) Low Power Laser. o The FFC Lower Power Laser system shall be designed to meet or exceed the following characteristics: A. Fiber-Fiber-Coupling system for Low Power Laser with BRP B. Homogeneous beam design C. Square beam spot D. 10m fiber length total Handheld Laser. o The hand held laser shall be designed to meet or exceed the following characteristics: A. Hand-held 1D optics with manual beam triggering B. Adjustment knob for laser parameters C. F-Theta lens, focal length F=100mm D. Maximum beam deflection width: 50mm (@ F=100mm) E. Housing in plastic design F. Completely assembled including beam collimation and focusing module (integrated) G. Spare protection glass H. Tool for changing the protection glass I. Short nozzle J. 10 meter cable length Fume Extractor Filter Unit. o The fume extractor filter unit shall be designed to meet or exceed the following characteristics: A. Cart type, portable fume and particle extractor. B. Maintenance-free high-performance turbines with adjustable speed controller C. Replaceable High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter, activated carbon filter, and Pre-filter to increase HEPA filter service life. a. Filters shall be separate units for ease of maintenance. D. Digital filter monitoring system E. 300 CFM flow rate F. 21,000 Pa pressure rating G. Runs on 110V, 60 Hz single phase power H. 140 pounds Laser Curtain. o The laser curtain shall be designed to meet or exceed the following characteristics: A. Keeps bystanders� eyes safe from any wavelength of laser that the laser system listed above is capable of producing. B. Quickly set up in under 5 minutes after training C. Pre-assembled laser blocking panels D. Able to store in a compact package E. Stand-alone or able to link together F. Clean room friendly Laser Safety Glasses. o The laser unit shall include five (5) each laser safety glasses that are designed to meet or exceed the following characteristics: A. Block harmful laser light of any wavelength that the laser system is capable of producing B. Universal fit C. Able to fit over prescription eyewear. � Shall include 3 days of On-Site Training for up to 6 personnel on the operation, maintenance and calibration of the unit. A Firm Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. Estimated Period of Performance: �90 days ARO This is full and open and not set aside for small business.
