- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 15 Contracting Office intends to release a commercial Brand Name solicitation for the Columbia, MO VA Medical Center requests to purchase Stellaris Elite System. The NAICS code is 339112 with a size standard of 1,000 Employees. The solicitation number is 36C25519Q0537. All other contract details including full specifications will be included in the Request for Quotes, which will be released on or about August 9, 2024. The close date will be on or about August 16, 2024 at 2:00 AM CST. Any contractor who wishes to receive a copy of this RFQ may submit a request in writing. The VISN 15 Contracting Office address is: VA Heartland Network 15, Network Business Office, Contracting Office, 3450 S. 4th Street Trafficway, Leavenworth, KS 66048. New Stellaris machines that will replace our end of life stellaris machines to keep providing cataract surgery for our patients Background: We currently have the Stellaris system in our OR and they are end of life with replacement of the same equipment. We currently carry the handpieces for this machine. Purchasing new accessories for this machine would lose the standardization and require addition time, training and additional costs. CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services necessary to for this system. Contractor will provide warranty services as listed below in technical requirements. Brand Name to be compatible with current equipment being used.
