- Solicitation Number: 36C24624Q0828 Notice Type: Pre-Solicitation Synopsis: VA Pre-Solicitation Notice for VISN 06, Valet Parking Services-Salem VAMC The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 06), Hampton, VA on behalf of the Salem VA Medical Center intends to solicit quotes for a contractor who can provide valet parking services at the Salem VA Medical Center located at 1970 Roanoke Blvd., Salem,VA24153-6404. This pre-solicitation announcement is for contractor who can provide valet parking services and the VA intents to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The VA anticipates issuing this solicitation as a 100% Small Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside for this requirement. The solicitation will be available for download from Contract Opportunities from SAM.gov at http://www.sam.gov. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies are available. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the quote submission process. Prospective Quoters are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation at SAM.gov or Contract Opportunities website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database under the applicable NAICS Code. Firms may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in SAM. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website and register as soon as possible. NAICS Code is 812930, Parking Lots and Garages with a small business size standard of $47.0M. The classification code is M1LZ. There is an anticipation of a single award from this solicitation, which will be made commensurate with the needs of Salem VA Medical Center. All responsible sources may submit quotes. The VA will consider for evaluation only quotes from sources found to be responsive and responsible.
