If cracks or discoloration is found or the tubes are 12-months of age or older, all the Flamingo or Cetacea tubing's should be replaced immediately. Pump Performance Monitoring After installation of a new or repaired pump an initial output pressure should be measured and logged per Pump Pressure Test Procedure (401998-355). After that, the pump's output pressure should be periodically re-measured (and logged) in the same manner. This output pressure log allows the user to identify any relative decrease in pump's output capacity so service can be performed on the pump in order to restore its air output capabilities. It is recommended, as a minimum, that this test be performed at the same time as air filter replacements. This will assure logged values at least every 6 months. More frequent measurements are encouraged. Perform the Pump Pressure Test Procedure (401998-355) using the Mini Pump Test Load (401998-354). This should be done at least once every 6 months during the time of a filter service change. The pump pressure measured during this test should be logged in the data log provide by the procedure and evaluated per the procedure to assure pump performance. Additional References: I.
