Bub, Contract Specialist, (202) 366-9571 Title:�������������������������� Electric Vehicle Battery-Forecasts and Analysis Description The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) intends to negotiate with Benchmark Minerals Intelligence as a non-competitive, sole source contract for Electric Vehicle Battery-Forecasts and Analysis subscriptions.� This includes the purchase of the Annual subscription for the monthly Battery Gigafactory Assessment, the monthly Cathode Market Assessment, the monthly Anode Market Assessment, the quarterly Battery Database, and the Battery Cell Cost Model. Background National Highway Traffic Safety Administration�s (NHTSA) mission is to save lives, prevent injuries and reduce economic costs due to road traffic crashes, through education, research, safety standards and enforcement activity. Benchmark Minerals Intelligence data provides unique battery-materials and gigafactory-related forecasts and analysis, unparalleled by any other found/available resource.� This procurement will allow the Government to obtain the latest electric vehicle battery-related data to stay up to date with recent technology trends, aiding to a rule with justified electric vehicle battery factory and material assumptions. Procurement Objective The Contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, tools, and materials to complete Benchmark Minerals Intelligence Battery-Related Data Subscriptions. A Firm Fixed-Price contract is anticipated. The corporate capability statement must address the capabilities necessary to accomplish the scope outlined above as well as the additional tasks and characteristics given below. SCOPE OF WORK FOR NHTSA Electric Vehicle Battery-Forecasts and Analysis 12-month subscription to the below services for up to five (5) assigned users: Description Quantity Battery Gigafactory Assessment 1 Cathode Market Assessment 1 Anode Market Assessment 1 Quarterly Battery Database 1 This notice of intent is NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS nor is a Request-for-Proposal solicitation document currently available. Interested firms should identify their capability provide the services described above. The written response must include detailed information relating to the specific data being requested. �Expressions of interest without sufficient detail to permit evaluation of one�s ability to provide the requested information will not be considered. �A determination by the Government not to compete this action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition. �In the absence of responses from interested firms demonstrating their capability, NHTSA intends to request a proposal from the Benchmark Minerals Intelligence, on a noncompetitive basis for the work described. �Responses must be received by the listed procuring office with fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of this notice.
