Description

The purpose of this solicitation amendment is to Clarify a previous amendment, answer questions, provide an updated PWS (Highlighted Section), and to extend the deadline for solicitations. Clarification: The previous contract POP was not for 5 years as previously stated via amendment. The previous contract POP was for 1 shortened base period of 6 months and 3 one-year option periods. (4/1/2021 9/30/2024). Questions and Answers: In section 1.4 Hours of Operation. Is the facility expecting a custodian onsite for the hours listed, 8:00am - 4:30pm? Or is it a task driven contract and they can leave when the daily tasks are completed?  a. This is 8 hr. s a day without a ½ hour break which is required during facility operations. In section 3.2 it appears that the government provides consumables and cleaners. Is the contractor only responsible for equipment? a. The Government shall supply cleaning supplies, paper supplies, and floor care supplies. The contractor shall provide the Cceaning carts, brooms, mops, vacuums, buffers/scrubbers (including pads), carpet shampoo equipment, and all other equipment necessary to perform the tasks. Please see Updated PWS, Attached. Items updated are highlighted in Yellow. The solicitation response deadline is hereby changed to 8/30/2024. All responses shall be submitted via email and be received no later than 1:30 PM EST on 8/30/2024.
