Description
Amendment#1 The purpose of this amendment is to publish Q&As and also to change the evaluation criteria only by evaluating the base year. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ (i)�������� This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii)��������This solicitation is issued as a�Request for Proposal (RFP).��� (iii)������ The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-05.� (iv)������ This procurement is a Small Business Set-Aside.� The NAICS code is 562112 � Hazardous Waste Collection and the Small Business Size Standard is $41.5M.�� (v)�Requirement Description: The USSS is seeking the complete destruction of counterfeit coins that are held in locations throughout the continental US, outlined in section 1.3 of attached SOW. The coins must be destroyed completely by shredding, waffling, flattening, or melting so they cannot be used as coins in commerce or trade. The scrap produced by coin destruction will remain with the contractor. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide transportation and destruction of current and future counterfeit coins as defined in this Statement of Work.
