- Description
- NASA has awarded the Atmosphere Observing System - Sky (Formerly�AOS-P)�Submillimeter Wave Radiometer Phase A Study to the Northrop Grumman System Corporation, of Redondo Beach, California. The contract action was awarded competitively. This is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract that includes an 15-month base period with no options. The period of performance began September 1, 2024. The work will be performed at the contractor�s facility in Redondo Beach, California. Under this new contract, Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation will provide insight into potential instrument concepts that will support AOS-Sky mission implementation, with particular attention to performance capability, developmental maturity, and developmental risk of the AOS Radiometer Instrument.
