- RESIDENCE (DCR) NETWORK SYSTEM INSTALLATION The Embassy of the United States of America in Quito, Ecuador is seeking to contract specialized technical company that can provide professional services, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, etc., to complete the Network System Installation of one residence of the US Embassy Quito, which is located at Campo Alegre, Quito. The Contractor�s proposal shall include a detailed cost breakdown of the recommended services to be performed. The Contractor shall provide all project planning, personnel, equipment, materials, tools, PPE equipment and supervision as needed to complete the services that meet the technical requirements in the Statement of Work (SOW).� This work must be done according to the Contractor Officer representative (COR) requirements. The Contractor shall always keep the work area free from accumulation of waste materials. Upon completing the installation, the Contractor shall remove all temporary facilities, if installed and leave the project site in a clean and orderly condition acceptable to the COR. Furthermore, The Contractor shall provide the services required and shall always provide technical supervision during the execution of the installation according to the technical requirements in the SOW. The performance schedule shall be presented indicating commencement and completion of the entire project within the proposed contract completion schedule. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor.� The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed-price type contract.� If you are interested in this project, please contact QuitoProcurement@state.gov , to send you the Statement of Work (SOW). Pursuant to FAR 4.1102, bidders are required to be registered in SAM (System for Award Management) at the time a quotation is submitted. To register to SAM, please follow the instructions detailed in the following link: https://sam.gov/content/entity-registration Vendor shall contract a civil liability policy of USD100.000. Besides a DBA Insurance (Defense Base Act) will be required upon the work commencement. The DBA insurance may be obtained from any authorized DBA insurance broker, see Sub-Section I.12, FAR 52.228-3 WORKER�S COMPENSATION INSURANCE (DEFENSE BASE ACT) (APR 1984).� New DBA insurances policies can be purchased directly from any DOL (Department of Labor) approved insurance carrier at the DOL website at http://www.dol.gov/owcp/dlhwc/lscarrier.htm The Contractor shall provide evidence of the insurances required under the purchase order by the time the installation services commence. As per FAR 652.236-70 the Contractor shall submit a Work Plan (WP) and the associated safety Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) to the COR for approval, two weeks prior to each service. The Embassy intends to conduct a pre-quotation conference and site visit on September 23, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at the project site. Offerors planning to attend the site visit must submit the Name, Phone number, Organization/Company, ID or Passport No. and nationality, of their company�s representatives to QuitoProcurement@state.gov ; no later than September 17, 2024 at 5:00 p.m., local time. This information must be provided to ensure access to the site. No substitutes or additional persons may attend the site visit. Attendees are requested to carry copy of the Request for Quotations and their Photo ID along with them. Attendance is limited to two persons per company. Direct any questions regarding this solicitation, by e-mail, to QuitoProcurement@state.gov , before 5:00 p.m., local time, September 23, 2024. Your quote must be submitted, by e-mail, to the Contracting Officer, Alan Royston, at QuitoProcurement@state.gov , before 4:00 p.m., local time, on September 26, 2024. No quotation will be accepted after this time. Period of performance The period of performance for the project shall be completed in 60 calendar days from the date of commencement. Project Site Location The residence is located at Campo Alegre, Quito-Ecuador Payment Terms Credit. After delivery, 30-45 days. .
