Description
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to design, construct and install three curved dual-surface consoles, sit-to-stand adjustable workstations and associated cabinets with work surfaces to match. Vendor must design to fit the existing workspace and meet the requirements of the existing sit-to-stand dual-console workstations. Vendor is responsible for inspecting the existing workspace and work furniture to design replacements to fit the space accurately and match the needs of the users. Monday through Friday from 0800 - 1500. INSPECTION PRIOR TO BID: Prospective bidders are highly encouraged to visit the site to familiarize themselves with the existing conditions. Contract acceptance will be based on �best value� basis. Arrangements for visiting the site may be made by contacting: Don Boudreaux at (985) 312-3080 or Vessel Traffic Services Berwick Bay watch supervisor at 985-380-5370. SCOPE OF WORK: Service is to include: Design, construct, and install three adjustable curved, dual-console workstations approximately 66� X 66� with an adjustment range of 22�- 48� with cup holders. Workstations must have adjustable cable management systems that protect all associated cabling and prevent any kinking or pinching of the cabling while the desk is in motion. Workstations should be equipped with dual-surface data dock cables for keyboard, mouse and phone connections. Works stations must be able to accommodate five 22� monitors (two 22� top row, three 22� bottom row), two KVM switches (17 1/2�Wx10 1/2�D x 2�H), one VHF marine radio and microphone (7�W x 4 1/2�D x 5 ��H),� two computer key boards and two computer mouse controllers on each work station with room for work/writing surface for the operator and a laptop PC.� Design, construct, and install two 39� wide CPU cabinets with front locking doors, internal fixed shelf, and two built-in 45 CFM fans for ventilation. Cabinets must have a flip top work surface. Design, construct, and install two 36� wide lateral file cabinets with two drawers each. Design, construct, and install one 18� wide drawer pedestal with two six-inch drawers and one twelve-inch drawer. All cabinets and workstations must be movable to access power and cabling beneath the raised flooring. All cabinets and workstations and surfaces must match. Remove and properly dispose of all waste/debris from the workspace. LOCATION: The work is to be completed in the Vessel Traffic Center (VTC) located at 7327 HWY 182 Morgan City, LA 70380. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: One time TYPE OF CONTRACT CONTEMPLATED: Supply Purchase Brand name or Equal (see Scope of Work)
