Description

The 30th Civil Engineering Squadron (30 CES) requires the purchase of five medium voltage pad-mounted transformers for the replacement of equipment that is approaching end of life service located at Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB).� The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation and other requirements necessary for obtaining the equipment described in section 1.0. � The pad-mounted transformers shall have the following voltage ratings: ��� �122.5 KVA, 208Y/120, 12 kV ��� �150 KVA, 480Y/277, 12 kV ��� �300 KVA, 480Y/277, 12 kV ��� �500 KVA, 480Y/277, 12.47 kV ��� �750 KVA, 480Y/277, 12 kV�� � VSFB has a corrosive environment that affects medium voltage pad-mounted transformers and its components. This factor necessitates that 30 CES to have a unique requirement when purchasing transformers. This unique requirement is to be stainless steel built, which reduces the companies capable of fulfilling the purchase order.
