- Description
- The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to issue a purchase order modification to The Art of Space, LLC on a sole source basis. In accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, the Contractor is the only known responsible source who can provide the services for the requirement listed below. The purpose of this notice is to inform the public that the NIH intends to modify purchase order 75N98022P02273 awarded to The Art of Space, LLC. to extend services for six (6) months and provide additional funding to complete ongoing renovation projects.� � The Art of Space, LLC is renovating workspace for NIH first responders and is the vendor currently providing the design, project management and renovation services.� Additional funding is also needed to continue renovations.� Because The Art of Space, LLC is currently doing the renovations, it is more cost efficient and in the Government�s best interest to extend the contract for six ((6) months, provide additional funding, and continue receiving services.� Seeking another vendor to complete the renovations would create delays, would not be time efficient, and would cause the Government to incur some duplication of costs.� Only one responsible source will satisfy the agency�s requirements.� This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. However, any party that believes it can fulfill the requirement as stated herein may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates the ability to satisfy the requirement. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed award based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. It is anticipated that an award will be issued approximately two days after�the date of this notice unless the Government determines that another company has the capability to satisfy this requirement. Responses to this notice must have the notice ID #SS-NIH-7080203 in the subject line of the email.
