Description
The Air Force 49th Civil Engineering Squadron and 49th Contracting Squadron (49 CONS) is currently seeking sources for a service requirement for grease trap cleaning services at Holloman AFB NM 88330-8277. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Quote, nor does it restrict 49 CONS to an ultimate acquisition approach. No contract will be awarded from this announcement and requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. This Sources Sought Notice is in support of market research being conducted by the 49 CONS to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling all requirements associated with these services on HAFB. REQUIREMENT:� The contractor shall perform pumping and cleaning, skimming, and disposal services to remove waste, grease, oils, and sediment from eight (8) identified facilities on Holloman AFB. The contractor shall remove all liquid, semi-solid and solid matter from each identified grease trap.� The contractor shall use scraping or high-pressure water to remove all sludge and other residues from the tank bottom; removing waste build-up on pit walls, inlet/outlet piping, manhole access, and baffles; clearing obstructions in the inlet/outlet pipes to ensure unrestricted flow; and evacuation of all wastewater.� Walls, piping, and baffles shall be grease free after cleaning.� The contractor shall clean the grease trap lids, top and bottom.� The contractor shall clean the surface area around the grease trap to be free of grease and food particles.� Grease traps shall be considered clean when waste materials have been removed.� The surface areas shall be cleaned to ten (10) feet in all directions from the center of the grease trap access. Spills, splashes or other damages caused by the contractor shall be cleaned at the contractor's expense. Grease traps shall be cleaned whenever they are pumped.� Contractor must have the ability to suction material from tanks over a distance of at least 100 feet.� Contractor shall not drive on landscaping or sidewalks to accomplish this work. The contractor shall transport and dispose of all excavated or otherwise removed liquid, semi-solid, and solid waste materials to an off-base disposal site in accordance with (IAW) all applicable United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), federal, state, and local laws.� The contractor shall not discharge chemicals or grease into the base sanitary sewage collection system, or any municipal or regional sewage works, public or private. In addition to scheduled service, the CO or COR may request the contractor perform unscheduled pumping, disposal, and cleaning services on an as-needed basis.� In the event that servicing is required outside the contractor's regular schedule, the contractor shall respond to the Government within eight (8) hours of notification to schedule the service to be performed within 24 hours of notification. The Contractor shall adhere to all applicable standards including, but not limited to, federal, state, and local laws and regulations. This requirement is for a one (1) base year contract with four (4) option years.
