- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE THIS IS A PRESOLICIATION NOTICE AN INVITATION FOR BIDS WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT 9/26/2023. PROJECT OVERVIEW PURPOSE: The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) is looking to hire a contractor to perform the required work to install two new air handling units (AHUs) and associated infrastructure and controls for building 29, per the plans and specifications. The scope of this project will require coordination between the contactor, COR, CO, and VA staff. Ultimately the means and methods to perform this work and determine a sequence of work will be determined by the contractor. The location of this project is building 29 at the Thomas E. Creek VA Medical Center, Amarillo, TX 79106. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238220 with a small business size standard of $19M. This project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Per FAR 36.204 the magnitude of this project is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. Important Notice: Apparent successful offerors must apply for and receive verification from the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 by submission of documentation of Veteran status, ownership and control sufficient to establish appropriate status, offerors must be both VISIBLE and VERIFIED by the Department of Veteran Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprises prior to submission of offer. Failure to be both VERIFIED by CVE and VISIBLE on VetBiz prior to submission of offer will result in the offeror s proposal being deemed non-responsive. All offerors are urged to contact the CVE and submit the required documents to obtain CVE verification of their SDVOSB status if they have not already done so.
