Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a commercial Sole Source contract to Ecolab Inc, CAGE: 85884 in accordance with FAR 12 and FAR 6.302-1.� Commander, Navy Region Southwest requires the installation and replacement/lease of its (7) High Hood Conveyor Dishwashing Machine at its (5) different locations across the San Diego Metro area.� The contractor shall be responsible for the maintenance and calibration of the leased dishwashers throughout the life of the contract.� Additionally, the contractor shall provide and install required ventilation exhaust hoods and dish tables. ��Specifically, the equipment to be leased are (7) brand new Ecolab, EC66HH 66-inch conveyor High Hood Dishwashing Machines or equivalent.� Ecolab is the sole manufacturer and lessor of these machines and they are the only dishwashers which fit into the existing galley�s parameters.� The proposed contract action is for a Sole Source Firm-Fixed-Price contract under FAR Part 12 for commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals and no solicitation nor RFQ will be forthcoming. Responsible sources may identify their interest and submit a capability statement in response to this notice via e-mail to Melissa.e.ferri.civ@us.navy.mil which shall be considered by the agency. Information received will be considered for the sole purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to not compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government
