Description
This amendment is to attach a corrected Past Performance Questionnaire. The correct date for the Contracting Specialist to receive it is October 24 @ 11:00am EST. See Attached updated document. Also, below are additional Q&As. Q&A 2 Would clients be traveling between sites listed or would they be traveling to what's logistically close to their homes? The transports of patients are for the Coatesville VAMC only. We do not typically transport within sites/facilities. If we do, the sites are Lebanon, Philadelphia, and Wilmington. The Veterans will be traveling mostly to/from their homes/living facility to/from local appointments/VA facility. Please reference the Price Schedule for estimate number of trips per month. Would each site require their own transport services? Coatesville will be contacting the awarded vendor to arrange all transportation. This transportation service is to service Coatesville VAMC patients only. What's the average amount of trips per day per site? The number of trips estimated are in the Price Schedule for Coatesville VAMC patients. What level of ALS is needed?  ALS 1 and 2? Both levels are needed for Veteran transports. While most transports are BLS, ALS transports do occur. Please refer to the pricing schedule for averages. Are multiple subcontractors allowed in the contingency plan?  In case of emergency/disaster. Yes, multiple subcontracts are allowed in the contingency plan in case of emergency or disaster. Subcontractors are assigned and directed by the Prime contractor. The VA does not assign or direct subcontractors. The primary service location includes DE, and NJ, will there be pickup and drop off in those locations?  The address for the Wilmington, Delaware VA facility is in the PWS and is the usual address for a Delaware pickup/drop-off. New Jersey pickup/drop-off is typically at the East-Orange VA facility or the Lyons VA facility. - East-Orange VA, 385 Tremont Ave, East Orange, NJ 07018. - Lyons VA, 151 Knollcroft Road, Lyons, NJ 07939. There may be other addresses for pick up/drop off occasionally but those 3 are the most popular out of state locations.
