Description
The purpose of this amendment is to do the following: To extend the due date to November 4, 2024 3PM EST. To answer RFI s. To provide the Revised SOW. To provide the update drawings to include measurements. To provide photos of the windows. To provide Sign-in Sheet RFI Does the end user require Low-e Tinted Glass or Window Film? If they want window film, we would require Elevations and not just floor plans. If they can provide quantity and sizes (width by height of each pane) that would work too. Low E would be preferred but a quote for both would be acceptable. Attached are the windows and sizes of windows, again these sizes are approximate and should be verified by the contractor, 25 windows in all. Is a tripartite escrow agreement acceptable if the cost of the job were to be over the threshold? In accordance with FAR Part 28.101-2(b) for construction contracts greater than $35,000, but not greater than $150,000, the contracting officer shall select two or more of the following payment protections, giving particular consideration to inclusion of an irrevocable letter of credit as one of the selected alternatives. Work placed on which floor? 1st and 2nd floor front and back of building as shown in the attachment. Contractor asked about indication of water damage in the rear windows. COR did not see any at this time. The Customer expressed concerns with humidity getting in the lab during performance of window replacement. Contractor should be prepared to mitigate exposure to humidity to prevent damage to lab equipment.
