Description
Except where otherwise stated, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, travel, lodging/subsistence, equipment, incidental engineering, and transportation to provide hazardous waste and other regulated waste management and release support and Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) control, removal and disposal from installed systems and mobile equipment.� Waste management support will include inventories of regulated industrial/maintenance wastes on-site, preparation of waste profiles, waste characterization (including sampling, analysis, and data interpretation), packaging of waste into Department of Transportation (DOT) approved containers, disposal of waste at an authorized disposal or recycling facility, clean-up of waste releases, and preparation of final reports.� AFFF removal and disposal will include collection of required field samples and laboratory analysis, extraction of AFFF from fixed systems and mobile equipment, replenishment of fire protection systems with MILSPEC compliant fluorine free concentrate, cleaning/rinsing of AFFF equipment and systems, and proper disposal of AFFF concentrates and rinsates.� This contract will primarily encompass the NAVFAC SE Western Geographic Area of Responsibility (AOR).� This contract will primarily encompass the geographic area of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas and serve as a backup for services in other portions of the NAVFAC SE AOR.�Work under this contract will be ordered by written Task Orders (TOs) issued to the Contractor by the Contracting Officer.
