- On behalf of the U.S. Navy and International Unmanned and Small Combatant Program Office (PMS 525), the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) announces the opportunity for interested parties to attend an in-person Information Session for pre-solicitation notice N00024-25-R-2310, Multi-Mission Surface Combatant (MMSC) - Professional Mariner (PM) Crew on Wednesday, 13 November 2024 at the International Workboat Show (IWBS) at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, La. The Information Session will be divided into two (2) parts. Part 1 will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. CST in meeting room #202 and will be a Navy-led brief of the MMSC program and a review of the draft SOW. Part 2 will be one-on-one meetings with industry from 1:40 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. CST.? Industry attendees are encouraged to participate in both parts; however, it is?not?required.�The objective of this engagement is to inform industry of the upcoming procurement and gain feedback on the draft SOW package. Please note, this Information Session is in-person only; a virtual or teleconference option to participate will not be offered.�Audio or visual recording devices of any kind are prohibited. The Information Session will provide industry of the mission and requirements of the MMSC and Professional Mariner (PM) Crew along with details of the program. A PM crew augmented with a detachment from NSWC-PHD will operate MMSC for the duration of the post-delivery period. Operational responsibilities include and are not limited to: Safe operation and navigation of the ship Equipment planned maintenance Shipboard hotel services, and Routine upkeep of MMSC during PD periods in-port and at-sea. The PM Crew Contractor will also be required to provide shore services in support of ship operations. NAVSEA anticipates release of a Request for Proposal (RFP) in fiscal year 2025. DATE, LOCATION, REGISTRATION PART 1 -�MMSC PM Crew Info Session DATE: 13 November 2024�� 10:00 AM � 12:00 PM (Central Standard Time) LOCATION:?The Info Session will be held in meeting room #202 at the IWBS REGISTRATION (PART 1): Not required; open to all attendees PART 2 - One-on-One Session DATE: 13 November 2024 LOCATION: IWBS meeting room #202. Specific details will be provided after company registration. SCHEDULE: 20-minute blocks between 1:40 PM and 5:00 PM (CST), assigned after registration for PART 2 WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Vessel crewing companies capable of crewing naval vessels?up to 400� feet with gas turbine and waterjet propulsion, shipboard maintenance providers, and husbandry firms. REGISTRATION (PART 2):?Deadline 04 November 2024; registration after this date or on the day of the event is not allowed. All parties interested in attending one-on-one sessions must register via email by contacting Jacob Thomas at jacob.a.thomas20.ctr@us.navy.mil and copying daniel.a.fisher46.civ@us.navy.mil?and�zachary.r.arriaga.civ@us.navy.mil. The Subject Line of e-mail registration shall be as follows: Company Name, Response to Industry Day Announcement for MMSC program PART 2. Please indicate in the body of the email the names and titles for all representatives from your company that will attend the one-on-one session. Requests for specific time slots may be made but are not guaranteed to be honored based upon availability.� Note:� This Information Session is not considered the Industry Day event as identified in Pre-Solicitation Notice N00024-25-R-2310_PSN. A separate Industry Day event is still planned for December 2024 with information forthcoming. Please continue to monitor SAM.gov for updates.� This announcement is not a contract, a request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. The Navy will not assume liability for costs incurred by an attendee for travel expenses or marketing efforts; therefore, attendee cost in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government. Attendance at this info session is optional. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if one is issued.
