Description
The Defense Logistics Agency-Aberdeen, on behalf of the Army Integrated Logistics Supply Center (ILSC), intends to acquire Parts to support their Electronics Shop Vans (ESVs). Requirements Description: This is a market survey to locate additional sources of supply for a COMMERCIAL 28VDC Power Supply for use in Electronic Maintenance Repair Vans, AN/ASM-189, throughout the world. It converts the 60Hz, 120/208VAC, 3-phase input power to 28VDC electrical power, available to each of the workstations at the 28VDC electrical posts. PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a market survey to locate additional sources of supply to design/develop a 28VDC Power Supply, again, it is for a commercially available 28VDC Power Supply. The present commercial 28VDC PWR Supply that is being used inside all AN/ASM-189 Vans is NSN 6120-01-508-1273 , P/N # DHP 30-330M27 as manufactured by AMETEK. Additional Sources of supply for a 28VDC PWR Supply must offer a commercially available 28VDC PWR Supply that is an equal substitute for form/fit/function parameters to P/N# DHP 30-330M27 for the AN/ASM-189 Vans. Interchangeability shall exist in electrical input/output interface cables, to allow easy plug-in with existing cables that are inside the AN/ASM-189 Vans. Interchangeability shall also exist in fit, so that the replacement 28VDC PWR Supply will fit exactly in the designated compartment of the electrical rack that is inside the AN/ASM-189 Vans. The technical requirements for a suitable commercial 28VDC PWR Supply used inside the AN/ASM-189 Van are outlined in the separate attachment titled COMMERCIAL 28VDC TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS_189. Each offerer must provide all supporting equipment specifications data/documents for your proposed 28VDC Power Supply, and provide any supporting technical documentation to verify/prove that your proposed commercial equipment is equal to the #DHP 30-330M27, as explained above. The burden of proof is on the offeror to prove that their commercial equipment satisfies the above form/fit/function requirement. The bid sample electrical/mechanical inspections will be performed at Tobyhanna Army Depot during an Industry Day at a date to be determined/announced. The Government will extend an invitation to all respondents of this Market Survey. Each potential supplier will be asked to bring in their form/fit/function replacement to Tobyhanna to demonstrate that their commercial unit(s) are drop-in (plug & play) equivalents, and will fit in the electrical equipment rack, and also attach to the existing interface cables inside the van/shelter, just as was stated in the attached requirements. Tobyhanna will provide the shelters/vans and power, and experienced electricians to install all the commercial equipment inside the available AN/ASM-189s. The power supplies meet specific performance and interface requirements that are necessary to meet the operational requirements of the Transportable Electronic Maintenance Shops. The Transportable Electronic Maintenance Shops are used at Army Divisions or Battalion level as repair maintenance shops for performing required maintenance on electronic equipment and their components to support Combat Support Systems and Communications Systems (CSS&CS); and various Command, Control, Cyber, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems, and PATRIOT. The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP) for the parts. The 28VDC Power Supplies are commercial items that were designed and manufactured by AMETEK from its standard commercial product lines to meet requirements for the AN/ASM-146 & AN/ASM-189 Transportable Electronic Maintenance Shops. The previous contract for this item, SPRBL1-14-D-0022, was awarded through another source, TDK-LAMBDA AMERICAS INC (CAGE 89022). Supply Planner has indicated requirements through FY30 for this Power Supply. The following additional NAICS apply: 335311 Items and/or Services to Be Procured: NSN: 6120-01-508-1273 NOMENCLATURE: POWER SUPPLY PART NUMBER: DHP 30-330M27 CAGE: 25965 Requested Response Information: We request that sources who can supply the listed parts or services to provide all supporting equipment specifications data/documents for your proposed 28VDC Power Supply, and provide any supporting technical documentation to verify/prove that your proposed commercial equipment is equal to the #DHP 30-330M27 (NSN: 6120-01-508-1273), as explained above. The burden of proof is on the offeror to prove that their commercial equipment satisfies the above form/fit/function requirement. Also please complete the questionnaire. In your response, please include your company name, CAGE code, and a technical point of contract with email address and telephone number.
