- The DLA-Aviation is issuing this source sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for Two (2) Fusion Welding Metal Additive Manufacturing Machines for requirement with Brand Name Parts from Fanuc America Corp CAGE JA711 [Allen & Bradley Controllers], Rockwell Automation Inc., Allen Bradley Division CAGE 307W7 [FANUC Robotics Equipment] and Dell Technologies Inc CAGE 7BN21[Dell Laptop Computers]. All Machine OEMs Are Able To Provide The Allen & Bradley Controllers, FANUC Robotics Equipment and Dell Laptop Computers. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 333517.THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to manufacturer or legitimately obtain the listed items/supplies are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by December 3, 2024, not-later-than 3:00 pm EST. All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must be sent to Stephanie Sapp via email at stephanie.sapp@dla.mil. Responses should not exceed ten (10) one-sided 8.5 x 10 inch pages with a font that is no smaller than 10 point as this is not a request for a proposal but only a request for submission of a vendor's capability to perform this requirement. DLA Aviation Richmond intends to award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price contract for Two (2) Fusion Welding Metal Additive Manufacturing Machines requiring Allen & Bradley Controllers, FANUC Robotics Equipment and Dell Laptop Computers.Interested parties that can provide the required Two (2) Fusion Welding Metal Additive Manufacturing Machines shall include Technical Data (1LT), Installation (1 each), Training (1 each), IUID Tag (2 each), Shipping (2 each).
