- Description
- Subject: Digital Marketplace Solution Overview: The Army PEO Enterprise, through Project Director Enterprise Services (PD ES), has a new requirement to build a high-quality Digital Marketplace website/portal. This project will utilize a strategic blend of tools and best practices to meet Army Digital Market goals and provide an excellent user experience. The platform will serve both Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) needs, aiding the Army in digitizing its acquisition processes, reducing service costs, shortening acquisition cycles, and facilitating efficient procurement of hardware, software, and professional services for DOD/Army customers. The Army PEO Enterprise is not looking for system integrators or proprietary solutions. PEO Enterprise is looking for commercial of the shelf software vendors and may request a demonstration (DEMO). Requirements: The solution we are looking for should be able to ingest a variety of different catalogs, for example, but limited to, DoD, GSA, Army and/or commercial catalogs, in a format like the sample found in Attachment 1 (Test Catalog Data Set) and quickly perform the following functions: Create an easily browsable online storefront that displays individual catalog items. Provide a search feature that allows for the comparison of similar catalog items (e.g., the same product from different vendors, at different prices, or other products with similar features). Allow external vendors to upload and manage individual catalogs. Provide simple catalog management capabilities. Enable selection of items from the catalog, build purchase orders, and trigger a purchase order approval workflow. Purchase workflow shall include paying by credit card or MIPR. Track orders through the approval process in a view accessible to the customer. Build custom workflows and business process rules. Acquisitions through a Digital Marketplace shall follow all Federal and Army acquisition regulations. Request for DEMO: The Government may reach out for a DEMO virtual presentation to better understand the capabilities of your existing solution. This DEMO shall also include what is listed above. Instructions: Please respond to the RFI with your organizations capability statement and the software that will be used by November 21, 2024. Additionally, please include your organization's name, the point of contact (POC) name, email, and phone number. Purpose: The intent of this RFI is to conduct market research enabling the government to determine the best approach and to seek to understand industry interest and relevant capabilities in participation in the concept described above. This is a Request for Information only. This RFI is being conducted pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 15.201(e). No contract will be awarded from this announcement and no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information submitted in response to this RFI. As such, this RFI is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute any obligation on the part of the US Army. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP or solicitation, should one be issued. All submissions become US Army property and will not be returned.
