- VENDOR QUESTIONS/ANSWERS When is the work set to begin? The Period of Performance shall begin on Date of Award . We anticipate having this request awarded no later than 12/15/2024. How many total performance sites are there throughout Cook, DuPage, and McHenry Counties? There shall be one performance site. Can you disclose the budget maximum? No. Are there any liability insurance requirements?� No. How would you like the proposal to be submitted? Please refer to Page 27 of the Solicitation titled, Addendum to FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items . Could you please provide the estimated volume/capacity of each grease trap that requires servicing? This information is essential for properly sizing equipment and determining labor requirements. 2000 gal. The SOW Section 3 indicates monthly jetting of sewer lines. Industry standard for hydrojetting service is typically annual or semi-annual, as more frequent jetting can be unnecessary and potentially harmful to pipe infrastructure. Could you please confirm if monthly hydro jetting is required, and if so, what specific conditions necessitate this frequency? Monthly Hydro Jetting is essential for maintaining the hospitals plumbing system due to continuous water usage from the kitchen and the risk of grease build up and clogs. Regarding the sewer line jetting requirement, what is the approximate total linear footage of sewer lines that need to be cleaned? Approximately 100-125 linear footage. What is the pipe diameter range for the sewer lines requiring service? 4,6,8-inch lines. Are there any known problem areas or historical issues with the grease traps or sewer lines that we should be aware of? On Polk street, an 8-inch line is deteriorating, but is still capable of being serviced with jetting. Will the contractor be responsible for providing and maintaining any spill containment equipment on-site? Yes. Could you please provide the name of the incumbent contractor and current contract value? Information regarding Contract 36C25223P0878 can be found on sam.gov. With reference to Section B.3, would you please clarify if the pricing should be provided as a monthly rate or annual total for each contract year? Annual total for each contract year is sufficient. For the pricing, the directions are� Complete SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES AND PRICES/COSTS � Fill in SF 1449 blocks 17a, 30a, 30b, and 30c on Page 1. Fill in 1(a) on Page 2. Is this the section B.3 on page 8 and 9 of the attached document?� Yes. Can you confirm the approximate size, depth, and capacity of the grease tanks and traps? 2000 gal. Is there flexibility in scheduling maintenance times outside of the 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM window? The contract does not allow for any flexibility in scheduling maintenance times outside of the window outlined in the solicitation.
