Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration December 3, 2024 SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT FOR BRAND NAME ONLY Ovid Synthesis Clinical Evidence Manager RFI ECMS ACTION NUMBER 36C77625Q0068 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) intends to enter into a brand name only procurement for the Ovid Synthesis Clinical Evidence Manager created by Wolters Kluwer, in accordance with FAR 13.106(b). The NAICS code for this procurement is 519290 and the Small Business Administration Size Standard is 1,000 Employees. This notice of intent to is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirements may submit a quotation with manufacturer cut sheets, which may be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons are encouraged to furnish information by email only with Notice of Intent Ovid Synthesis Clinical Evidence Manager in the subject line. Responses are due on or before December 10, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time to this procurement s Contract Specialist, Aimee Maxel, aimee.maxel@va.gov and the Contracting Officer, Kristy Svendsen, at Kristy.svendsen@va.gov. The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent.
