The information received will be used within the Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS) to facilitate the decision-making process and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of interested businesses that have the capability and relevant experience to Renovate Maintenance Parking Lot at Mammoth Cave National Park, Mammoth Cave, KY, 42259 A determination by the Government to compete this requirement as a set-aside based upon responses to the notice and other market research is solely within the discretion of the Government. The information provided in the RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. The release of this RFI should not be construed as a commitment or as an authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought. All submissions will become Government property and will not be returned. The NPS does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. Mammoth Cave NP, and the ConOps EAST Acquisition Buying Office (MABO) seeks to determine the availability and capability of potential SMALL BUSINESSES, CERTIFIED 8(a) SMALL BUSINESSES, CERTIFIED HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESSES, CERTIFIED SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS, INDIAN SMALL BUSINESS ECONOMIC ENTERPRISES and WOMAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES for the project below. Solicitation No.: 140P5325R0005 Project Name: Replace Facility Maintenance Parking Lot Project Location: Mammoth Cave National Park Physical Address: Mammoth Cave, KY, 42259 The anticipated firm fixed price construction contract is expected to have a magnitude between $500,000 and $1,000,000. NAICS: 238990 - All Other Specialty Trade Contractors-Building and Property Specialty Trade Services $19.0 OR any relate NACIS code. Please provide with your information. Set Aside: 100% small business set-aside. Estimated Period of Performance: 180 days Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Construction A complete Statement of Work will be included with the Solicitation. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued on SAM.gov in February 2025. All questions will be answered in writing via amendments to the Solicitation. Description of requirement: The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate the maintenance parking area and improve water management systems. The work includes removing failed asphalt, sub-base, and sub-grade sections, followed by installing a 2-inch asphalt overlay across the existing parking lot. Damaged drainage systems will be removed and realigned, with new drainage installed to enhance water flow. Additional improvements include constructing curb and gutter sections in front of maintenance buildings and around vegetation areas, pouring 2 inches of new asphalt, ensuring compaction meets required specifications, and re-striping the parking area for improved functionality and safety NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE.
