Description
This is a sources sought notice for a services requirement to assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy by requesting industry input. To assist the Government with this determination, if you are interested in the requirement described below, submit the following to Helen.Woods@va.gov by 12pm Pacific 1/2/2025: Your company name and SAM UEI number. A brief statement of your company s capability specific to this requirement for a maximum of two (2) pages. Form responses concerning capability and responses that do not appear capable will not be considered for purposes of determining acquisition strategy. If your company is a SDVOSB/VOSB, your capability statement should address VAAR 852.219-75 (JAN 2023) (DEVIATION) s limitations on subcontracting and how your company can provide the requirement within the 50% restriction on subcontracting. This sources sought is looking for companies capable of performance the full requirement described below, not simply part of the requirement. (Optional) Any in process applications with SBA for your business size status or similar? Requirement Synopsis: The VA facility located in White City, OR is looking for a vendor to provide a one-time service to two (2) FTI-5A fuel polishers, located in generator house, as well as a one-time repair for a leak in one of the polishers. The service will include changing filters (1-micron, 3-micron, 10-micron, strainer filter), drain and clean water separator and clean water level sensor. The repair for the polisher in building two (2) will address a leak that has currently been temporarily isolated. The leak requires repair to include replacement hoses, fittings, and connections to bring the system to a leak-free condition operating in auto mode. The work must be performed by a Qualified Professional familiar with the identified fuel polisher system. The anticipated NAICS code is 811310 and the anticipated Product Service Code (PSC) is J091. Please include in your response if you feel a different code or codes is more appropriate. The Government thanks industry for their assistance with determining the appropriate acquisition strategy for this requirement. Please note, telephonic requests will not be honored at this time.
