Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District is seeking a Contractor to develop and supply six (6) outdoor interpretive panels that will be installed at the Gull Lake Recreation Area (GLRA) near Brainerd, Minnesota. Panels will cover different USACE topics, and multiple topics could be included on a single panel. Previous interpretive signage was removed at the request of representatives of nearby Native American tribes due to proximity to sensitive/sacred areas and inaccurate information. Panels specific to tribal history and way of life will have a larger section of these translations alongside the English text. At a minimum, panels may have one word or phrase translated into Dakota and/or Anishinaabe languages. Contractor will submit electronic drafts within 90 days of contract award. Drafts will go through an extensive review and revision process. Contractor will supply six complete outdoor panels and all materials required for installation, delivered to GLRA no later than 12 September 2025.
