- This sources sought synopsis is issued solely for information and planning purposes � it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This sources sought synopsis does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. The Government is not at this time seeking proposals. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The sources sought respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or costs incurred in response to this sources sought; all costs associated with responding to this sources sought will be solely at the interested party�s expense. Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be issued via SAM.gov. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement, if any. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for the operationalization of a three-year Pharmacy Benefits Manager to administer pharmacy benefits for a limited health care benefit program (the WTC Health Program). The Program anticipates a transition-in (implementation) period not to exceed 12 months, plus one year of full operations post-go-live, with a transition-out period not to exceed 12 months in the final option period (third contract year). The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 524292 - Pharmacy Benefit Management and Other Third Party Administration of Insurance and Pension Funds.
