Description

SOURCES SOUGHT: This is for a market survey only; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis and no contract shall be awarded from this synopsis. The U.S. Air Force, 319th Contracting Squadron, Grand Forks Air Force Base (GFAFB), has been tasked to identify potential sources, market capabilities and market conditions that has the capability to fulfill a requirement at Grand Forks AFB, ND. The requirement is as follows: The contractor will provide all labor, materials, tools, parts, transportation and incidentals necessary to provide and install Blinds IAW Salient Characteristics at Grand Forks AFB, ND. The North American Industry Classification System 337920 � Blind and Shade Manufacturing. The purpose of this source sought is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of members of both the Small Business Community, to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilizes Business Zones (HUBZone), Service Disabled Veterans-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business�s (EDWOSB) to compete for this requirement. NOTE: If you believe the above NAICS to be incorrect please suggest alternate NAICS for this acquisition. Any information received will be reviewed for informational purposes. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis. The Government must determine and ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of interested, capable commercial companies. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
