Description
PROJECT NO: SXHT 16-1037 PROJECT TITLE: Repair Streets & Parking, Various PAFB DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Repair Challenger Street from the west edge at Spacelift Ave to the east edge at Falcon Ave. Work to be performed will include the demolition and removal of existing paved surface, base course, curbing, and drainage structures within the designated repair area. Proper disposal of all demolition debris is required. Install new road base, graded to ensure positive drainage. Repave Challenger Street from Falcon Ave to Spacelift Ave and install concrete curbing and drainage structure. Replace damaged/spalling concrete storm drain inlets/manhole tops. Restripe centerlines, edges, stop lines, parking spots, and crosswalks according to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) standards. Reconfigure and repair the northern end of Falcon Avenue. Work includes the demolition and removal of the existing paved surface extending past the parking lot entrance on the east end. Proper disposal of all demolition debris is required. Install new standard FDOT concrete curbing and gutter along specified road curving into the parking lot entrance on the east end. Grade the demolished pavement area downwards to create an upland recharge area. Restripe centerlines, edges, stop lines, and crosswalks according to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) standards. Remove the dead-end signs at the end of Falcon Ave. DISCLOSURE OF MAGNITUDE: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000 SET ASIDE: TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE NAICS: 237310- Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, Size Standard $45.0M. TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price Construction PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 90 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. This is NOT a request for proposal or invitation for bid. 45 CONS at Patrick SFB, FL announces the anticipated release of Solicitation number FA252125B0009 being issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). All applicable provisions and clauses will be included in the actual solicitation document. This electronic announcement constitutes only the pre-solicitation notice being issued. This IFB is being issued under FAR 19.5 Total Small Business set-aside in accordance with FAR Part 14- Sealed Bidding. Any questions related to this pre-solicitation must be submitted via email to charles.cowart.4@spaceforce.mil; and patricia.bates@spaceforce.mil. Please reference solicitation FA252125B0009 on all correspondence. Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under a solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel a solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
