- DLA Energy is issuing the pre-solicitation synopsis for the biennial Deep Freeze Program solicitation SPE602-25-R-0710 which provides fuel to McMurdo Station, Antarctica. The ordering period is Date of Award through January 31, 2026, with a 30-day carryover period. The 30-day carryover period allows for delivery orders to be placed prior to the end of the ordering period. This procurement is for one delivery. The mode is FOB origin, and the method of delivery is tanker. One contract will be awarded so all offerors must provide all products. Please review the solicitation notes for important information about this procurement. The following products and total estimated quantities will be produced: Turbine Fuel, Aviation, AN8 (NSN: 9130-01-373-0208), Quantity: 6,500,000 US Gallons (USG) Note: AN8 is an ultra-low sulfur product. Turbine Fuel, Aviation, JP5, (NSN: 9130-00-273-2379, Quantity: 600,000 US Gallons (USG) Fuel, Gasoline, MUM (NSN: 9130-01-272-0983), Quantity: 160,000 US Gallons (USG)
