Description
The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), has a requirement to procure This requires a qualified Attending Veterinarian (AV) working closely with ELs Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and providing guidance to scientists conducting animal research. The purpose of this action is to keep a veterinarian with appropriate credentials as required by DoD to serve as the AV for the ELs Animal Care and Use Program (the Program). The ERDC intends to issue an award to (Senter Consulting Services (CAGE Code: 4XTH5) on a sole source basis under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-2 Unusual and compelling urgency. EL must have a qualified AV associated with the Program, or it risks losing its authority to work with vertebrates, and that would be devastating to ELs ability to perform that facet of its mission. Hence, the critical need for continuous AV services in support of the Program. Senter Consulting Services is a small business concern. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541940 Veterinary Services with a size standard of $10,000,000 dollars. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals.
