- VHA Regional Procurement Office-East NETWORK CONTRACTING OFFICE 2 Albany-Stratton/Bath/Bronx/Canandaigua/Northport/Syracuse Medical Centers Hudson Valley/New Jersey/New York Harbor Healthcare Systems WNY Upstate New York Healthcare System Page 2 of 2 Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 2, is issuing this Notice of Intent to Sole Source in order to identify any potential sources that have the resources and capabilities to provide a comprehensive vehicle for Intrasight 5 Ultrasound. EQUIPMENT REQUIRED Contractor shall deliver Intrasight 5 Ultrasound at the Western NY Healthcare System Buffalo VA Medical Center. INTERESTED & CAPABLE RESPONSES: The facility is requesting a Brand Name Only Philips Intrasight 5 Ultrasound. If you offer this item or an item that performs all the salient functions required in the SOW section of this document please provide a response. NCO 2 is seeking responses from businesses that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, rights, and capabilities necessary to provide these services. Please respond with your: Business name, business type, socio-economic status (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), person of contact (including telephone number & email address), GSA Contract number if applicable, and DUNS number. Capability statement must provide detailed and specific information that would demonstrate a capability to perform the tasks or provide items as stated in the attached Statement of Work. Failure to tailor capability statement to this specific requirement may result in your company being determined non-responsive. Responses must be submitted by 10 AM/ EST July 29, 2025. The results of this notice will assist in the development of (1) the requirement, and (2) the acquisition strategy (e.g., small business set-aside, full and open competition, etc.). VA assumes no responsibility for any costs incurred associated with the preparation of responses submitted as a result of this notice. STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) Intravascular Ultrasound Procurement for Buffalo VAMC Background: The Buffalo VA Medical Center is working to replace an old Intravascular Ultrasound that has exceeded their useful life date. The Intravascular Ultrasound previously being used in the Buffalo VA Endovascular Suite was deemed end of support as of 12/2024.� It was difficult to find a third-party vendor to perform the necessary maintenance to deem it safe for patient use. Scope. The Buffalo VAMC is seeking to purchase an Intravascular Ultrasound for use in the OR Endovascular Suite. This equipment will allow for specialty procedures to take place; including assessing coronary artery disease, guiding stent placement, evaluating vascular abnormalities, detecting plaque characteristics, and more. Salient Characteristics: The Intravascular Ultrasound must be compatible with the GE Allia IGS 740 device in our Endovascular suite. The Intravascular Ultrasound shall include, Quantitative Coronary analysis, Hyperemia Free Lesion Assessment, and Fractional Flow Reserve The Intravascular Ultrasound device shall run on a supported operating system. The Intravascular Ultrasound device shall include an encrypted hard drive. The Intravascular Ultrasound device shall run on a supported operating system. The Intravascular Ultrasound device shall have PACS compatibility with AGFA and VA Vista Imaging. On-site clinical applications training shall be included with the purchase of the Intravascular Ultrasound device. Place of Delivery: Buffalo VAMC; 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215 Delivery Schedule: All items must be delivered to the Buffalo VAMC NTL 30 days from date of award.
