- FA8524-25-R-0015 issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). This is a not a small business set-aside. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular. Please see attachment titled CLAUSES. This requirement is for the repairs of the Refueling Probe Assembly , NSN 1680-01-656-2218GC, PN 70200-74022-059, in support of the HH-60G Helicopter Program. This requirement is a military unique requirement, as the Refueling Probe has been uniquely designed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation for the military. This acquisition will result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) requirements contract with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, consisting of one (1) Basic Year and four (4) Option Years. The projected period of performance is 01 May 2026 through 30 April 2031. This Refueling Probe is applicable to the HH-60W helicopter and is not a commercial item. The probe is operated by helicopter fuel pressure and is electrically controlled. It provides the helicopter with air refueling capability. NSN Part Number Noun NSN 1680-01-656-2218GC 70200-74022-059 Refueling Probe BEQ 10 EA - Basic Period and Option Year I BEQ 6 EA - Option Years II-IV The OEM is Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation and is the only manufacture for the Refueling Probe. The government does have access to the test criteria drawings, but it does not own Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) data, which is required for a repair vendor to (1) certify the repair and (2) deliver the asset back to the customer. Without this intellectual property, the Air Force cannot complete the repair process for this item. No source other than the OEM is qualified to manufacture, repair or overhaul these items as the technical data is proprietary to the OEM. Inspection and Acceptance will be at F.O.B. Origin. The Government intends to award this effort to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation . This requirement will be awarded as a sole source award since proprietary data rights exist and the Government does not have the data rights for this item. all responsible sources may submit a proposal quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. There will be no paper copies of this requirement mailed. No telephone or fax requests will be honored. The approximate issue date of the solicitation is 7 August 2025. The approximate response date is 6 September 2025. Late responses will not be accepted. The anticipated award date is 1 November 2025.
