- Please see attachment combined synoposis solicitation and Statement of Works (SOW) for further detials. This solicitation is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated to be awarded under Sealed Bidding in FAR Part 14. Site Visit is scheduled for 8/13/2025 at 10:00AM meeting at: 525 S. Loop 288 Suite C-1 Denton, TX 76205 A bid guarantee shall be 20% of the bid price or $3 Million, whichever is less. The estimated magnitude of the project is between $1,250,000 and $1,750,000 The upstream wave berm repair of Site 11 will consist of stripping and stockpiling the topsoil from the embankment eroded area; performing excavation and earthfill activities to achieve the specified rock riprap subgrade; placing and anchoring geotextile fabric on the approved subgrade; placing rock riprap to the required thickness and limits as shown in the construction drawings; backfilling the toe of the rock riprap with earthen materials; blending the earthwork above the rock riprap into the existing embankment; establishing vegetation; and reconstructing the fence above the rock riprap. The existing, constructed plunge basin has experienced erosion along the side slopes of the basin and outlet channel. To prevent/retard future erosion, the basin will be armored with a 2 feet thick blanket of rock riprap.
