Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO PROCURE BRAND NAME REQUIREMENT. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, Pacific District, intends to issue a Brand Name Request for Quote (RFQ) for HGX Pro Bio 800 Holganix lawn fertilizer and Blue Sky 21-0-0, Holganix Lawn Fertilizer for the Riverside National Cemetery on or about August 15, 2025. Riverside National Cemetery has a need for Holganix fertilizer due to its unique microbial function, nutrient support, and proven success at the cemetery. The proposed acquisition is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). To be eligible, the contractor must be SBA SDVOSB certified. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 325314-Fertilizer (Mixing Only) Manufacturing and with a Small Business Size Standards 550 employees. When available, the solicitation documents for this requirement 36C78625Q50345 will be provided via https://sam.gov, on or about August 15, 2025. The solicitation will be a Request for Quote (RFQ). FAR Part 13 procedures and Lowest Price Technical Acceptance (LPTA) selection process. The quote closing due date and time will be detailed in the RFQ and any amendments that may be issued. When available, the solicitation documents for this requirement will be available via https://sam.gov. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE AVAILABLE. Offerors are responsible for checking the referenced page for any update(s) to the Notice. All quotes received by the solicitation closing date that are SBA SDVOSB certified will be considered by the Government.
