Description: INTRODUCTION Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC (BEA) Management & Operating Contractor of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) owned Idaho National Laboratory (INL), is preparing a solicitation in support the NASA Fission Surface Power program. This solicitation targets development and testing of a Technical Demonstration Unit (TDU) to support technology maturation, and risk reduction. �The 10kW FSP TDU effort discussed at the July 31 information session will not result in an RFP. NASA has a directive to pursue a higher power system that will be implemented in a future procurement action. More information to follow�
