- Description
- The NOAA Eastern Acquisition Division (EAD), in coordination with the Platform and Infrastructure Acquisition Division (PIAD), announces a Virtual Industry Day in support of NOAAs Class C Vessels program to address the upcoming requirement for the design and construction of Class C vessels. The Industry Day will be held electronically on August 20, 2025. Please notify chris.meconnahey@noaa.gov of your intent to attend no later than August 8, 2025. Attendees who RSVP will receive a Google Meet calendar invite with the meeting link in advance of the event. Please see the attached Draft RFP Sections, Draft Statement of Requirements (SOR), and Questions for Industry. Industry responses to the questions are requested by August 29, 2025. These responses are intended solely for the Governments market research and planning purposes and will not be discussed during the Virtual Industry Day. This Draft RFP is issued for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute an Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or any obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Responding to this notice does not entitle any party to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government. This notice does not authorize negotiations or signify an intent to award a contract. Should the Government issue a final RFP, all interested parties will be expected to thoroughly address the full requirements regardless of any participation in response to this Draft RFP. Please note: All industry responses and questions submitted in relation to this Draft RFP may be treated as public information and may be posted on SAM.gov.
