- Description
- Amendment 0001 The purpose of Amendment 0001 is to remove language in section 4, Awarding Instrument, and to add section 5.1, Solution Submission Requirements. Please see the attached document, Call for Solutions GFIM OE_Enterprise 25-04_Amendment 0001, to review the changes. ************End of Amendment 0001************ The Deploy to Re-deploy/Retrograde (D2RR) process encompasses the activities required to deploy, sustain, and redeploy forces, including the retrograde of equipment and personnel. Currently, D2RR involves a series of interconnected systems and processes for force management, readiness, deployment, and redeployment. The Army's goal is to transform D2RR to enable data-centric operations, with a future vision of incorporating technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The Global Force Information Management Objective Environment (GFIM OE) initiative aims to deliver a cloud-based enterprise capability to support this transformation, providing a common operating picture of the Total Army across the D2RR spectrum and a Global Force Management Data Initiative (GFM DI)-compliant environment for executing and integrating activities. As GFIM OE is deployed and becomes operational, the Army will strategically transition away from legacy systems, with divestment decisions driven by efficiency and effectiveness. The Call for Solutions document (.pdf), outlining the full problem statement and objectives can be found in the Attachments section of this posting.
