Description
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT notice issued by the 140th Mission Support Group, Force Support Squadron at Buckley Space Force Base, Colorado. This is for market research and planning purposes ONLY and does NOT constitute a solicitation or a request for quotes, proposals, or bids. Requirement Description: The 140th Mission Support Group is seeking information on market capability and interest in providing a 1,100-gallon deicing towable trailer. This will support the requirement to maintain an active runway, taxiways, and parking ramps with the Wing's no fail mission, operating 24/7, 365. It must be able to hold 1,000 gallons, with a minimum spray width of 20 feet. Salient Characteristics: Towable De-Ice trailer sufficient for operations on all runways, taxiways, and aircraft parking ramps. Trailer weight with full reservoir should not exceed 12,500 pounds. 1,100-gallon stainless steel reservoir for de-ice material A sufficiently constructed frame to support all components with a reasonable expectation for quality and durability within the scope of normal and expected use. In-cab remote engine control, start/stop, & engine speed 50-foot spray arm or spray swath with three sections: center, left boom, & right boom Application rate control system Liquid pump system sufficient for typical operation Hydraulically operated boom extension / retraction system Safety light system, preferably LED, to ensure visibility in inclement weather and night conditions Brake system sufficient for safe operation Information Requested: Interested companies possessing the qualifications, capability, and responsibility to potentially provide solutions are encouraged to respond with the following information: 1.
