- Description
- The Joint Project Manager (JPM) for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Sensors, under the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND) within the Department of Defense (DoD), is responsible for development, production and fielding of CBRN detection and identification systems. The Joint Product Director for Biological Detection Systems (JPdM-BDS) is in need of a replacement for its current Shipboard Power Pack (SPP) for the Enhanced Maritime Biological Detection (EMBD) system. The SPP is an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) that provides condition power and battery backup to the EMBD system, supporting the United States Navy. EMBD is seeking a replacement for its current Shipboard Power Pack (SPP). The SPP is an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) that provides condition power and battery backup to the EMBD system. The SPP delivers clean, conditioned 115 VAC and 24 VDC power. The dual output UPS supplies 250 watts of conditioned 24 VDC and 1,250 kW of conditioned AC output power. The outputs of the SPP provide high quality power with a pure sinewave AC output suitable for powering nonlinear loads with a high crest factor requirement and low noise DC output suitable for powering critical electronic loads. The SPP has a low harmonic distortion and near-unity power factor. The SPP conditions input power, blocking surges, spikes and transients from the input sources while maintaining reliable and stable outputs to sensitive equipment. Please see the attached full request for information for additional information and specifications of the requirement.
