Description

Amendment III To IFB 70FBR425B00000009 � BRCC Repairs Purpose: This amendment is issued to clarify a discrepancy in the solicitation regarding the number of stakes requiring repair. The original posting on SAM.gov stated that 402 stakes were identified, while the Questions and Answers attachment referenced 146 stakes. This amendment confirms the correct number of stakes and updates the solicitation accordingly. Additionally, this amendment addresses a missing checked box in Section E of the solicitation. Amendment Details: Clarification of the Number of Stakes: The correct number of stakes requiring repair is 402, as identified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Blue Ridge Community College (BRCC). The reference to 146 stakes in the Questions and Answers attachment was incorrect and is hereby superseded by this amendment. Statement of Work (SOW) Update: The SOW remains unchanged, as it already reflects the correct number of 402 stakes. Offerors must base their proposals on the repair of 402 stakes, as described in the solicitation and supporting documentation. Missing Checked Box in Section E: In Section E of the solicitation, the box indicating that the contractor is required to sign this document and return has been added. Contractors are required to sign and return 1 copy of Amendment I, Amendment II, and Amendment III with their bid submission. Instructions to Offerors: Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment by signing below and including it with their bid submission. Offerors are advised to review their proposals to ensure they reflect the correct number of stakes (402). Bid Submission Deadline: The bid submission deadline remains unchanged. Offerors are encouraged to submit their bids in accordance with the original timeline. Reason for Change: This amendment is issued to ensure all Offerors have accurate and consistent information regarding the scope of work and to address the missing checked box in Section E. By clarifying the discrepancy and correcting the oversight, the Government aims to maintain transparency and fairness in the procurement process.
