Description

NOTICE OF SOLE SOURCE AWARD. Army Contracting Command (ACC)�U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) awarded a sole-source purchase order to JEOL USA, Inc. (CAGE 51043), for the acquisition of a field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) with energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). A justification and approval (J&A) for other than full and open competition was executed pursuant to the authority of 41 United States Code (U.S.C.) �1901(e)(2) as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a)(1)(ii), sole source (including brand name) under the authority of simplified procedures for certain commercial products. A firm-fixed price (FFP) purchase order valued at $364,547.00 was awarded on 25 AUG 2025.
