AMENDMENT 0002 The purpose of this Amendment is to Extend the Offer Due Date and Change Competition to Full and Open. ADDITIONAL SITE VISIT An additional site visit will be conducted on 9/4/2025 @ 10:00 am (Local Time) and if you wish to attend, advance notice is required at least 1 (one) day in advance. Please submit the below information to Chuck Birch, E : Charles.E.Birch@FAA.GOV, O: (828) 684-2779, C: (817)-229-8124. Please list all attendees planning to attend. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is issuing Screening Information Request (SIR) Number 697DCK-25-R-00364, Replace Fire Smoke Dampers and Actuators, Tri-Cities Air Traffic Control Tower (TRI ATCT), 2711 Highway 75, Blountville, TN 37617. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCEThe Contractor must complete the entire work ready for use not later than 30 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the Notice to Proceed. MONETARY MAGNITUDE The estimated magnitude is less than $50,000. SET ASIDE Offers are solicited only from small business (SB) concerns, in accordance with 3.6.1-1 NOTICE OF TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. SITE VISIT An optional site visit will be conducted on 8/26/2025 @ 10:00 am (Local Time) and if you wish to attend, advance notice is required at least 1 (one) day in advance. All correspondences must contain the SIR # in the subject line. TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Emails with attachments that do not reference the SIR number in the subject line or the body of the message, will be disregarded to prevent the spread of computer viruses. All correspondences must contain the SIR # in the subject line. NOTICE OF FAR EXEMPTION The FAA is exempt from several Federal laws and regulations as part of the 1996 DOT Appropriations Act. Some of the exemptions include the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994, the Small Business Act, the Competition in Contracting Act, and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). The FAA�s Acquisition Management System (AMS), which became effective on April 1, 1996, is utilized in place of the FAR.
