Description

The Overhead door failed due to age and was found that several springs were broken, worn and needed to be replaced.Contractor will replace 5 Torsion Spring Assemblies on overhead bay door 1 and inspect existing hardware to determine functioning condition. Contractor will replace any hardware not deemed to be in proper working condition. Contractor will make all necessary steps to ensure proper functionality of door. Contractor will be allowed to enter the building for 1 day to complete the replacement of the door parts. Additional time will be provided if additional parts need replacement. Contractor will do a thorough cleaning of the area, haul-off their trash, old and new excess materials dispose of properly per local, state, and federal regulations. Mandatory Site Visit scheduled for September 4th, 2025 at 10:00am EST. Location: FEMA, MERS, VSAB, Bldg. B, front interior of building, located at 65 Old Marlboro Road, Maynard, MA 01754 Please see attached Statement of Work for details. Email christopher.barrow@fema.dhs.gov with questions regarding this requirement. All proposals should be submitted to christopher.barrow@fema.dhs.gov by the due date - September 8th at 4:00 p.m. EST. The proposals will be evaluated based on lowest priced technically acceptable.
