Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) has a requirement for carbon face seals (CFS). The CFS is a critical part for the ASDE-3, residing in the rotary joint, part of the antenna system. This requirement is for two (2) different carbon face seals. Only the listed Frontgrade or Rexnord part numbers are acceptable. Mfr: Frontgrade Technologies Inc. 40 EA Mfg P/N: D8000-305P3 or Mfr: Rexnord Aerospace Mfg P/N: 1-3468-1 And Mfr: Frontgrade Technologies Inc. 20 EA Mfg P/N: 8000-139 or Mfr: Rexnord Aerospace Mfg P/N: 1-727-4 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes and size standards for this effort is NAICS 339991 Gasket, Packing, and Sealing Device Manufacturing. Size Standard 1,000 Employees. Full-and-open competition will be utilized for this requirement. Please read the attached Request for Quote in its entirety. Page 1, blocks 12-17 of the RFQ document must be completed in full. Representations and certifications at 3.3.1-35, 3.6.4-17 and 3.6.4-18 must be completed and submitted with quotes. Incomplete submittals will not be considered. Proposals are due by EMAIL ONLY NLT September 12, 2025, 2:00 PM, Central Time. Please include the RFQ number 6973GH-25-Q-00191 in the subject line of all email correspondence. This is an end-of-year requirement. Extensions to this date are not anticipated. All Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management, www.SAM.gov. Per the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS), clause 3.3.1-33 System for Award Management (SAM), paragraph (b)(1) �By submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract, basic agreement, basic ordering agreement, or blanket purchasing agreement resulting from this solicitation.� This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
